  • Your child’s first name or chosen pseudonym, and their creative submissions (stories, drawings, or written entries)

We do not collect sensitive personal information or identifying photographs of children.

  • Display children’s creative work (using first names or pseudonyms only
  • Send participation certificates, badges, or other acknowledgement
  • Share updates, newsletters, and new Minisms (if you’ve opted in
  • Contact you for permission if your child’s work is being considered for a competition or future Min Barklin story inspiration.

We will never sell, trade, or share your personal information with anyone else.

How we store and protect it

All submissions are stored securely in password-protected systems and reviewed only by adult moderators.
Uploaded files remain within our protected WordPress environment and are not shared publicly until approved.
We take reasonable precautions to ensure your information is safeguarded against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

Cookies and analytics

We use standard cookies and Google Analytics to understand visitor activity and improve the website experience.
