Recently, my author, Sandy McDonald was invited to join the well-known radio host, Lisa Leong on ABC’s Radio Melbourne, alongside Yamini Naidu, a wonderful teller of stories.

Lisa has a way of putting the gawbles (giant wingless peopel) she speaks to completely at ease.

So, it wasn’t long before the three were talking as if they were at a coffee shop, not in an impressive radio station.

They yarned about writing, imagination, the communities that grow around stories, and Yamini and Sandy’s writing groups’ collaboration on a crime novel—a far remove from my book!

During the inteview, Lisa mentioned me and the book Min Barklin and the Silver Radiants TWICE!  And, Yamini concluded the interview by letting everyone know about my devotion to building a community of tree tenders.

Lumins love gawbles who open doors to caring for trees.
